How to do 11+ Maths is a practical guide designed for use by children, but it also has a wealth of essential advice and tips for adults involved in 11+ practice. The book works through the components that make up 11+ Maths papers, teaching and practising the skills needed to succeed in these exams. It tells children (and parents!) what to expect and provides sound strategies that can be practised and developed further.

Maths Facts Cards
Designed by an experienced 11+ tutor, these cards are a useful way of testing knowledge of basic maths facts in preparation for the 11+ and Year 6 SATs. The facts shown here are not comprehensive but do represent several elements that many children often find off-putting, difficult to remember and confusing. They can be used at any time: to identify weak areas; to reinforce general learning or as last-minute exam revision.

Times Tables Tests
Here are 12 times tables tests which can be used on a regular basis. They practise common facts that children often find awkward to learn, with several facts tested in both multiplication and division formats.
