We produce VR papers in two different formats because schools in different parts of the country set the exams in different ways. The formats are quickly understood. (Please note that the questions set in two different formats are different - you can use both sets to get a wider range of practice of different question types).

Standard format
With the standard format, pupils are asked to write their answers on the papers in the spaces provided.

Multiple choice format
Multiple choice format questions ask pupils to record their answers in a seperate answer booklet by drawing a line to indicate their response. Real multiple choice 11+ exams are marked by a computer-driven optical reader - no human being checks the answers, so it's important the pupil understands what to do. This format provides familiarity with the basic idea. Initially the multiple choice format seems a little daunting, but the conventions of the test are quickly learned.
